Dates

• The Young Youth Innovators Hackathon Summer 2023 2nd Edition will take place online from August 1 to September 1 2023.
• Submissions must be made by September 1, 2023, at 12:00 AM UTC.

Eligibility

• The hackathon is open to youth aged 14-18.
• Participants must sign up on Devpost to be eligible to participate.
• Participants can participate individually or in teams of up to four members.
• Participants must adhere to the rules and guidelines of the event.

Project and Submission Requirements

Participants should submit their projects on Devpost, including the following:

• A short video demo of their solution (up to 3 minutes in length)
• A written description of the project, including the challenge it addresses, the intended audience, and how the solution was developed. Be sure to include any relevant data, such as market research, user testing, or feedback from experts
• A pitch deck (maximum 10 slides) that outlines the problem you're addressing, your solution, and its potential impact. Be sure to include any relevant data, such as market research, user testing, or feedback from experts

Prizes

First prize: first-place certificate

Second prize: second-place certificate

Third prize: third-place certificate

Honorable mentions: honorable mention certificate

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Submissions will be judged based on the following criteria:
